Following his term as New Republic Senator from Calamari, former Speaker Cirden has returned to his homeworld. He was nominated to resume his former position as the Council's new Speaker and has happily accepted. (01/28/07)
The New Republic has completed repairs on the Calamari Shipyards. The yards are now back online and fully functional. The Council offers the New Republic for its quick and thorough repair of the damage inflicted by the Galactic Empire. (01/01/07)
