Corporate Information:
Tinakin is an independently owned and operated corporation
which holds no ties to any factional government or organization.
Corporate headquarters are located on the planet of
Lolnar which rests on the edge of the Core Worlds in the Azure
Sector.
The corporation currently recognizes no factional
states and partakes in no treaties.
Corporate History:
Tinakin Industries was originally formed 25 year ago
during the reign of Emperor Palpatine. Owned by James Tinakin, the goal of TI was
to supply the Empire with top of the line starship weapons for a more
reasonable price than their original manufacturers. The idea was sound, however,
with only minimal political power at his disposal James Tinakin was unable to
achieve his goals.
Decades later a smaller, yet much more
aggressive Empire had formed, and James Tinakin had become an indispensable
member of its upper command structure. Having solidified his political power and achieving the rank
of Grand Chancellor, James Tinakin once again brought Tinakin Industries to
the front of his priorities. In an effort to better meet the demand of the
Empire the Grand Chancellor enlisted the aid of Lile Rhince, Grand Praetor of the
Second Imperium.
Since that time both men have
retired from their Imperial service and focused their attention
on the corporation. While no reasons have yet been
revealed, both men have also sworn off ties to the Empire and
declared Tinakin Industries to be a completely independent
corporation. Speculation is that there was a falling out
inside Imperial command and James Tinakin and Lile Rhince have
both been asked for resignations. Rumors also exist that
Lile Rhince died in the line of duty to the Empire.
