During the height of the Emperor's power, a group of the galaxy's largest corporations gathered together in an area of space known as the Corporate Sector; a desolate region almost devoid of intelligent life but rich in natural resources and raw materials.. and opportunity. The corporations made the Emperor an offer; grant us total control of this sector under the Empire's vigilance and we shall give you production and income unlike anything you have ever seen. The Emperor was impressed and signed the charter which gave us total control of the sector's colonies, establishments, security, law enforcement, and industries. We fulfilled our part of the bargain by giving the Emperor the materials he needed to fuel his building war machine. Many of the warships he built during his reign were made from materials from the Corporate Sector.

Unfortunately, after the Emperor's death, production halted. Corporations from the board that ran the sector began to pull out as they joined the New Republic. Our industries were afraid to move forward in fear the New Republic would attempt to take us out along with the rest of the Empire.

Staying quiet allowed us to escape destruction. But the once rich sector was now in ruin and we had to rebuild if we ever hoped to regain that which was once ours; money, power, and respect.

Now, 9 years after Endor, the Corporate Sector is getting back on it's feet. Revenues are going back up. Research and development is back in full swing and we shall surely dominate the markets once more.
