Sifayr: the Holy Book
For
a Kuzr, Sifayr is more than just a religious book. At its very essence,
the word symbolizes the entire body of Kuzri religious thought, the path itself
that a God-serving Kuzr follows.
Sifayr is divided as
follows:
The whole of Sifayr is divided into three divisions.
These divisions are the Three Books of Kuzar, the Books of the Prophets, and
the Books of Observance. Each division is subsequently divided into sections,
each section into chapters, and each chapter into verses. A reference written as
"2 Sifayr 3:7:38" refers to the second division (Prophets), third section
(Isianach), seventh chapter, thirty-eighth verse ("And it shall come to pass
that the seventh son of the seventh son shall free the Kuzri people from their
bondage and return them to their ancient homes").
The sections of
Sifayr include:
- 1 Sifayr: The Three Books of Kuzar
- Section 1: Khadusha'ah, the Epic of Creation -
