Other Notes

This site (http://swi.starwarsclub.org/resources/modify/) is the only officially accepted source for modification costs in SWI. Because it is now openly available on the SWI site itself, copies should be made and put on group websites — they have had errors in the past. On SWI space itself, there is also no reason to have two copies of the same thing, and it will no longer be a feature of any branch webpage.
This page is meant to mainly have common items, however. Players may attempt to find faster replacement sublight drives, for example, and the shipwright corporations are likely to have different weapons for sale than just what's listed on this page. So feel free to make inquiries.

The following are add-ons found only in SWC and not in WEG's modification rules. Therefore they're easier to change later if we have to. The rest are copyright LucasFilm Ltd. and West End Games.
- Sensor modifications
- Hangars
- Research and development rules
- The expanded tables for R&D
- Extensive weapon costs lists
These are errors on modification pages have turned up over the years. They are not used in SWC.
- There are no armor plates available for simple increases in the hull code, and increasing the hull code does not penalize the maneuverability code.
- There are no special sensor suites currently available to install on ships.
- There are no lateral thrusters available for simple increases in maneuverability.
- Backup shields are a special technology found only on a few ships. They are not available to just buy and install.
- Weapons come with their own fire control, which is partially based on the ability to be aimed (which is why the 10D standard has 0D fire control, and the NR's 10D/2D gun costs a ton). Fire control packages are not available; just use the modification rules and accept the mishap modifier.
- Turrets are not available as a seperate purchase. Weapons are just installed that way, and it has more to do with the field of view of the position than the ability to move it around — weapons are already angled in a great many directions when in a single fire arc as an inherent ability.
