The desert moon. Fredoshia is largely covered in arid deserts, separated only by a few massive lakes. Civilization has sprung up around these lakes, resulting in 7 small cities among the moon’s 8 provinces. Many of the cities have great walls to protect them from sandstorms. Outside of the cities, much of the population is nomadic, owning large herds of beasts whose uses range from meat to milking. Fredoshia also attracts scientists, treasure hunters, and archeologists. Ancient ruins from some long gone civilized race are scattered across the moon, many half buried in the sand and swept clean by the sandstorms. Occasionally a lucky treasure hunter will come across an undiscovered chamber containing the remains of a long decayed dead ancient and his wealth. Treasure seekers aside, Fredoshia’s industry includes two large corporate airspeeder factories. Airspeeders are exported through the world’s limited service spaceport to Carlisle and the other moons. Fredoshia has some six landing fields in addition to their small starport for space access to the scattered cities. Fredoshia’s population is estimated at 500,000.
