Lianna in the Allied Tion

LIANNA, LOLA CURICH: Educators reminded everyone today that Lianna is in the Allied Tion sector, in The Tion region, and not in the Core Worlds.

The failing grade came as the Empire's strategic trade and manufacturing center fell under attack from New Republic forces, whose wrong turn began with the planners. Movement of ships along the Hydian Way Trade Route is expected to be delayed by entrance of the Squib Reclamation Fleet.

Upholding their end of extensive dealmaking, astrocartographers refused to provide exact coordinates, arguing that in the amount of time it took to say "parametric equations are of the form x = f(t), y = g(t), z = h(t)," the system had already moved 1,500 kilometers in its orbit about the center of the galaxy.

Escape pods were subsequently decorated by Lianns protesting in Shoppingland with such slogans as "no shirt, no shoes, no service" and "baby on board." Law enforcement arrested passengers for failing to pay docking fees.

Uncertain of which side was the underdog to root for, citizens threw a violent parade-turned-funeral procession for Gram Seiglo, who was denied admission to the Academies of both. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to Dean Wyrmyr to gain an interview for the younger brother of Mr. Seiglo.

In an interview given yesterday, Lady Valles Santhe denied knowing what the New Republic's High Admiral Kento was thinking when he sent over one hundred warships to her world. "There are some surprises in store for them," she said, "One, Two, Three, Four."

Hydian Way Trade Route

The Hydian Way Trade Route stretches from the Mid-Core out to the Corporate Sector. In this particular area of the galaxy, it passes through the strategic Allied Tion sector (which near 15% of the galaxy's passenger liners operate out of), enters the Outer Rim Territories, and crosses the Rimma Run at the late Grand Moff Tarkin's capital of Eriadu. Goods passing down the Hydian Way include the Corporate Sector's vast output of technology and rawmat.

Rimma Trade Route

The Rimma Trade Route extends from Abregado-rae on the edge of the Core Worlds out to Karideph in the Minos Cluster. On the way, it passes through the Allied Tion (adjacent to Hutt Space), Sullust, Eriadu, and Clak'dor VII. Historically, the manufactured goods of the Corporate Sector, Eriadu, and Sullust were shipped Coreward on the Rimma Run to markets on the other side of the Core from Coruscant.

Additional Routes

There are many additional trade routes in the area. At Sullust, where one may turn down the Daranc Run to go to Sluis Van or the territory of the former Pentastar Alignment. The Duros Space Run and Relgim Run provide access from the area of the Slice. The Salin Corridor, which follows the inner border of the Outer Rim, gives the Periphery Regions a vital link to the galaxy without having to pass through Hutt Space.

Hutt Crime Empire

The remnants of Jabba the Hutt's crime empire are embodied in the Hutt Alliance, which was formed in response to the military strength of the Second Imperium. It currently lies broken, with the Empire in control of Nal Hutta itself. Nevertheless, its leadership escaped, and remains poised for its return. Meanwhile, it retains control of thousands of associated criminal organizations and fronts.

New Republic Crossroads

The core of this setting is a triangle formed by the New Republic worlds of Eriadu, Sullust, and Sluis Van, sitting on the junctions of several important hyperspace routes. All around this bulwark, however, lies hostile territory, from stretches of Imperial space to the untrustworthy Hutts. Will this vital center of Republic trade and manufacturing hold out to the end or suffocate?

The Tion

The Tion region is a star cluster in one of the galaxy's long spiral arms, containing some 12,000 stars with nearly 600 habitable worlds. It is organized into three sectors. The Cronese Mandate is ruled by the ancient House of Cron. The Allied Tion sector is strategically located on the star lanes between the Corporate Sector and the Core Worlds. Finally, on the far side of the spiral arm, the backwards Tion Hegemony is the region's breadbasket.
