Worlds on the Rimma Trade Route

Core Worlds

Abregado-rae (New Republic)

Abregado is a planetary system located in the Borderland Regions — a militarized zone that separated the New Republic from the Empire and is now part of the New Republic. A vast and complex manufacturing infrastructure links the system's planets, and the goods produced there are vitally important to the well-being of the New Republic.

The Colonies

Arex (Independent)

This world, on the edge of Herglic Space near Giju, was an independent republic until the assassination of its executive threw it into a chaos that has since descended into civil war.  Numerous factions vie for influence, and ongoing hostilities in space have largely cut the world off from the outside.

Giju (Independent)

The Shapani Bypass cuts out Giju. It hits the following worlds in Tapani sector, moving from Coreward to Rimward in the sector, and connects with the Rimma Trade Route again before it enters the Inner Rim Planets region:

Inner Rim Planets

Thyferra (Independent)

Located in the Polith system, it is the homeworld of the mantislike Vratix and is the center of the galaxy's bacta industry. Thyferra remains neutral and profits from selling to both the New Republic and the Empire. Thyferra has three spaceports: The main one is Zalxuc City (renamed Xucphra City under the control of former Imperial-Intelligence head Ysanne Isaard). Foreign workers, who are hired to make the bacta runs, stay in segregated areas around the spaceport. The port's main building is a low two-story rectangle, with akonkje trees growing through it and out the roof. The planet-wide government is led by two Canirs (chief officers) appointed by an elected council, each Canir representing one of the two corporations (Xucphra and Zaltin) which together control 95 percent of the bacta trade.

Yag'dhul (Independent)

Outer Rim Territories

Sullust (New Republic) (another trade route branches off here; it quickly passes through Sluis Van (New Republic) on its way across the Outer Rim Territories)

A volcanic world, Sullust is covered with thick clouds of hot, barely breathable gases. Sullust is habitable only in its vast network of underground caves where native Sullustans have build beautiful underground cities that draw large crowds of tourists. The massive SoroSuub corporation employs nearly half the population in its mining, energy, packaging and production divisions. The amiable Sullustans are highly valued as pilots and navigators due to their instinctive ability to remember any path previously traveled.

Eriadu (New Republic)

A polluted factory planet in the Sesswenna Sector, it is a trading and governmental hub in the Outer Rim. Before the rise of the New Republic, Eriadu was the capital world of Grand Moff Tarkin's priority sector and his base of operations.

Crion (Independent)

An independent monarchy with ties to the New Republic, Crion's major industry is mining.  Its location just off the Rimma gives it a modest volume of traffic.  Crion has recently been invaded by a previously unknown military force, and most contact with the planet is cut off at this time.

Clak'dor (Independent)

Clak'dor is located in the Mayagil Sector. This small planet orbiting the large white star Colu is the homeworld of the peaceful, highly evolved Bith. It is now an ecological wasteland due to a conflict between the Bith of two cities, Nozho and Weogar, when they unleashed gene-altering biological weapons on each other, mutating the planet's surface (the jungles have pink, bubbling swamps) and forcing all surviving Biths to live in hermetically sealed domed cities. The planet is unable to produce basic needs for its citizens, so many Biths sell their intellectual abilities, finding employment as technical consultants. They also make good entertainers and musicians, playing everywhere from the grandest palaces to out-of-the way cantinas in spaceports such as Mos Eisley.

Outer Rim Territories: Metharian Nebula Territories

Tantra (Imperial)

An Imperial stronghold at the entrance to the Metharian Nebula Territories, Tantra is the gateway to the extensive Imperial holdings of the distal Rimma, which also includes the Minos Cluster and the Kathol sector.  A trade route from here travels to Coyn, in the Imperial-controlled Elrood sector.

Xzarja (Imperial)

Located on the Rimward edge of the Metharian Nebula, a few hours' journey off the Rimma, Xzarja is governed by a theocratic monarchy and controlled by various clans.

Outer Rim Territories: Minos Cluster

Adarlon (Imperial)

The human inhabitants of Adarlon are obsessed with pleasure and fun; they play when they work and they work at play. Throughout recent galactic history, Adarlon has traditionally been home of most of the galaxy's best entertainers, and even today many aspiring actors, singers, and producers travel to the planet to get their "big break. " Today, the tastes of the Empire run to entertainments that are more violent than the traditional, sophisticated Adarlon acts. It's underground holos which depict the Empire unfavorably are quite popular.

Karideph (Imperial)

This world is one of the most wildly overpopulated planets in the galaxy. Essentially, it is one giant city, and the number of creatures that live upon it is not entirely comprehensible to the human mind. It is fortunate, then, that the inhabitants, the Kari, aren't human. There is neither wilderness nor any wildlife left anywhere; every inch of land is in some way cultivated. Buildings are so tall that the upper extents need to be pressurized. Despite the size of these buildings, most Kari live underground. Many Kari have never seen the light of day — some of their tunnels have been dug as far as 12 kilometers in depth, nearly breaking through the planet's crust to its mantle.

(Triton Trade Route begins here, which enters Kathol Sector immediately after leaving Minos Cluster.)
